Dirty Turkey III
Santa Rosa’s Dirty Turkey is celebrating its THIRD annual race this November for two more days of dirty dirt-slinging rallycross! Come race TWO exciting days, both Saturday and Sunday will deliver the exhilarating, technical courses you’ve come to expect, and BOTH days count for California Rally Series (CRS) points! Keep a lookout on Sideways Data for Dirty Turkey 2026 to open for registration on Saturday, October 3rd.

Highlights
- Raffle prize giveaway: performance parts, car upgrades, gifts certificates, merchandise, gear, and swag will be raffled off to ALL participants.
- Awards: Trophies? Of course! Top 3 racers with top times for both days in each class will receive a permanent monument to immortalize their racing prowess.

Registration
NOTE: You must be an SCCA member to participate. Weekend memberships are available to everyone, and will add $25 to the total cost of your registration. Non-members should select “Non-SCCA Member” during checkout.
Save $$ and pre-register today. All Day of registration will incur a $25 surcharge.
REFUND POLICY: No refunds given for cars not passing Spec Inspection or Mechanical Issues. It is your responsibility to bring a prepared car to the event.

Rallycross is a motorsport that is open to everyone and all levels of ability. It’s grassroots for a reason. Most of us got started in this sport by randomly registering to events just like this one, and now we’re hooked. Beginners: Be aware that a SCCA-qualified helmet is required to participate. This means any helmet (either motorcycle or motorsport types are acceptable) with the following markings (markings can be found underneath the inner lining):
Snell SA 2025, SA2020, SA2015, SA2010, SAH2010, M2020D, M2020R, M2015, M2010, K2020, K2015, K2010, EA2016;
SFI 31.1 (2020, 2015, 2010), 41.1 (2020, 2015, 2010), 24.1 (2020, 2015,2010);
FIA 8860-2018, 8860-2018-ABP, 8859-2015, 8860-2010. and in good condition.
There is a stash of helmets that can be borrowed (while available, some quantity), please check with registration when you arrive to borrow one or reach out to the event coordinator prior to the event.

9:15am: Run group 1 cars on Grid
9:30am: First car on course

7am: Gates Open

Rules
Venue Rules:
NO ALCOHOL OR ILLICIT DRUGS ON SITE.
NO SMOKING ON SITE.
NO MINORS OR PETS ON GRID.
MUFFLER NOISE LEVEL MUST BE BELOW 80 Db AT 100 Feet (All cars must pass a sound check, and if it does not pass it will not be allowed to compete)
Event Safety Rules:
All vehicles must pass safety inspection on the following points prior to running:
Working seat belts.
Throttle return action.
Securely mounted battery.
No fluid leaks. Oil, coolant, etc.
Adequate clutch (if applicable) & firm brake pedal.
Tires must have measurable thread and be in good condition.
Wheel bearings must have no play.
All loose items, snap-on hubcaps, detachable fender skirts and trim rings must be removed.
Closed toe shoes are required (no sandals or flip-flops).
10. Helmets are required. There are no helmet rentals, but we may have some loaners available. Per SCCA rules, helmets must be:
Snell SA 2025, SA2020, SA2015, SA2010, SAH2010, M2020D, M2020R, M2015, M2010, K2020, K2015, K2010, EA2016;
SFI 31.1 (2020, 2015, 2010), 41.1 (2020, 2015, 2010), 24.1 (2020, 2015,2010);
FIA 8860-2018, 8860-2018-ABP, 8859-2015, 8860-2010. and in good condition.
Competition Rules:
You must know and claim the class of your vehicle prior to registration. Available classes for this event are:
- Stock All-Wheel-Drive (SA), Stock Front-Wheel-Drive (SF), Stock Rear-Wheel-Drive (SR)
- Prepared All-Wheel-Drive (PA), Prepared Front-Wheel-Drive (PF), Prepared Rear-Wheel-Drive (PR)
- Modified All-Wheel-Drive (PA), Modified Front-Wheel-Drive (PF), Modified Rear-Wheel-Drive (R)
- Side-by-side (SXS/UTV)
Truck (TRK) classes will not be included in this race.

If you are having trouble determining your race class, pick the closest one and ask registration for assistance with determining your vehicle class.
NOTE: Car numbers are required for the race and you will choose yours at registration. They must be legible and displayed on both left and right sides of the vehicle and be larger than 8 inches tall. Common methods for displaying numbers include blue or white painter’s tape arranged to form your numbers.
