Summer Festival of Speed returns for 2026

Join the fun, it will be a fast one.

This event precedes the Divisional Challenge in San Diego and will incorporate a test and tune format for Saturday for those wishing to set up their cars for Divisional event.

Both Days:

GATES OPEN 7:00 am

DRIVERS MEETING 9:00 am

RACE BEGINS 9:15 am

SAFETY:

All vehicles must pass safety inspection on the following points prior to running:

1. Working seat belts.
2. Throttle return action.
3. Securely mounted battery.
4. No fluid leaks. Oil, coolant, etc.
5. Adequate clutch (if applicable) & firm brake pedal.
6. Tires must have measurable thread and be in good condition.
7. Wheel bearings must have no play.
8. All loose items, snap-on hubcaps, detachable fender skirts and trim rings must be removed.
9. Closed toe shoes are required (no sandals or flip-flops).
10. Helmets are required (Snell M2010/SA2010 or newer). 

Also be advised:

1. NO ALCOHOL OR ILLICIT DRUGS ON SITE.
2. NO SMOKING ON GRID.
3. NO MINORS OR PETS ON GRID.

Registration Fee - Member - Each Day: 

Saturday $90

Sunday $110

                    - Both Days: $160

NON SCCA members add $ 25 for weekend membership.

Walkup payment will be accepted as well. cash, card, cashapp, venmo, select "cash" if planning to pay on site.

Limited new registration will be available on race days during check in time.

Enter Gate across from McDonalds on Kings Canyon Ave (Cesear Chavez blvd)

large trailers and evening arrivals may enter at gate 3 on Chance Ave.

EVENT SCHEDULE FOR 

SATURDAY and SUNDAY

7:00 am gates open, course open for walking

8:00 am Check in opens - closes at 8:45 am

9:00 am MANDATORY drivers' meeting

9:15 Tech in Grid, Heat 1 starts

Run/work groups tentative:

TBD. stock usually runs first, mod usually runs last.

Fun Runs (at the discretion of the event chair based upon interest & track conditions).

Before Competition

Check-in & Registration:

1. THERE WILL BE LIMITED ON-SITE REG. call before if any concerns.
2. On-site check-in at the trailer is required. 

 EVERYONE MUST WORK!

Waiver Station:

1. A Waiver Station will be set up at the gate upon entering the site.
2. All attendees must sign the waiver.
3. Wrist bands will be given to, and worn by all who sign the waiver. 

Tech Inspection:

1.  All vehicles and helmets must be inspected for safety according to 2025 SCCA Rules
2. Please make sure all loose items are removed prior to presenting vehicle for tech inspection
3. Tech Inspection will be on grid before runs.

During Competition

Drivers:

1. Drivers must wear helmet, seatbelt and closed-toe shoes during competition.
2. Co-driving (sharing the same car) is permitted. 2-driver cars will be gridded accordingly. 

Corner Workers:

1. Workers with more experience will be asked to be "Corner Captains" and will be in charge of radios and flagging.
2. Use of cell phones, cameras or other devices by corner workers is prohibited.
3. Further information will be provided at end of Drivers' Meeting

Cancellation Policy

1. Cancel before registration closes – full refund.
2. Contact Organizer if canceling after registration closes.
3. All cancellations must be performed by logging into sidewaysdata.com or contacting organizer.
